Anthony Bourdain once wrote, "Travel is about the gorgeous feeling of teetering in the unknown." In one sentence, he summarized the often illusive feeling all travelers get, the reason why we venture out into the world. This feeling has become the foundation for my own travels, and the guiding wind of inspiration for anyone who has wanted to put foot to trail.
This blog is not always about how to travel. It's really about the why.
Through my own adventures, I always came home with a new sense of wonder. Pulled away from the monotony of everyday living, I was reminded of how incredible it is to be alive in a world that is purely gorgeous to stand witness to. I returned with less stress and anger, and more joy and inspiration to be of service to those around me. I came home to feel Home, in the way a newborn grows in the womb, unaware of the journey he has ahead.
This blog is about finding freedom, across borders and international lines, in dialects and conversations without words. It's about the inspiration that makes you want to travel in the first place, that planted seed of curiosity. I hope it inspires you to feel the wind of adventure, and let it carry you where you've never been before.
